How to Make Beeswax Wraps
This simple tutorial will show you how to make your very own beeswax wraps.
You will need:
Grease Proof Paper
Thin Fabric - an old pillow case is perfect
Something to iron on
Time: 5 mins
Cost: £8.47 x 500g wax (50 wraps!)
1. Place a sheet of greaseproof paper under the fabric and sprinkle with pellets. You don't need loads, just a nice spread.
2. Put another sheet of paper on top, set the iron to a medium heat and use it to melt all the wax into the fabric.
3. Peel of the paper while the wax is still warm and hang up to cool.
4. Use the heat from your hands to wrap and set in place around your tasty treats.
When washing your beeswax wraps make sure you only use cool water.
